Can a simple IV drip at home keep bladder cancer patients out of the hospital?

Summary
This study looks at whether giving patients IV fluids at home for four weeks after bladder cancer surgery can lower the chance of being readmitted to the hospital. About 130 adults having their bladder removed for cancer will be randomly assigned to either standard care or standard care plus home IV fluids three times a week. The main goal is to see if this extra support reduces unplanned hospital visits within 90 days after surgery.
