Summary
This study looked at whether people who inject opioids can safely complete their IV antibiotic treatment at home instead of in a hospital or nursing facility. Ten participants received medications for opioid use disorder (like Suboxone or methadone) along with social support such as case management and health coaching. The goal was to gather early data on how well this approach works, to plan a larger future study.
