VA tests home workouts to keep veterans walking after diabetic foot wounds
NCT ID NCT06312579
Summary
This study is testing a 12-week home exercise program for veterans who have recently healed from a diabetic foot ulcer. The goal is to see if the program is practical and acceptable, and if it can safely improve walking speed, strength, and overall mobility without causing the ulcers to come back. It will compare the exercise program to the current standard of care in about 50 participants.
