Summary

This study tests whether a structured exercise program done at home can improve walking ability and overall recovery in people who recently had a stroke. About 208 adults who had a stroke within the past two weeks will be assigned to either the home exercise program or usual care. The main goal is to see if the exercise group can walk farther in six minutes after three months.
