VA tests 'Smart' home exercise to fight veteran leg pain and amputation risk
NCT ID NCT04889105
Summary
This study is testing a convenient home exercise program for Veterans with peripheral artery disease (PAD), which causes painful leg cramps when walking. Instead of traveling to a clinic, participants will use a wearable activity monitor and get remote coaching to follow a walking plan at home. The goal is to see if this 'Smart MOVE!' program helps people with PAD walk farther and more easily.
