Home workouts fight muscle loss and fatigue in kidney disease
NCT ID NCT07371858
Summary
This study tested whether a 12-week home exercise program could help people with advanced chronic kidney disease. Researchers wanted to see if exercise could reduce the risk of muscle loss (sarcopenia), ease symptoms like fatigue and depression, and improve sleep and overall quality of life. They compared a group doing the exercises with a group that did not, measuring changes in strength, walking ability, and well-being.
