Heart pump patients to test App-Guided home workouts in new study

Summary
This study tests whether a 12-week home exercise program, guided by a mobile app and smartwatch, can help people with a heart pump (LVAD) improve their walking ability and quality of life. About 78 participants who recently got an LVAD and cannot attend hospital rehab will be randomly assigned to either the home exercise program or standard care. Researchers will measure changes in walking distance, safety, and emotional well-being over six months.
