NCT ID NCT04203147

Summary

This study tested whether regular phone sessions with a nurse educator could help low-income seniors better manage their type 2 diabetes. Researchers compared two groups of 100 participants each - one received diabetes education and behavioral coaching, while the other received general health support. The goal was to see if the coaching approach improved blood sugar control over 12 months.
