Could a simple home test replace clinic visits for diabetes screening?

NCT ID NCT06862128

Summary

This study is testing whether a do-it-yourself oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) at home, using a wearable continuous glucose monitor (CGM), is as accurate as the standard test done in a clinic. Researchers will compare the results from 75 adults with prediabetes who complete both the home and clinic versions of the test. The goal is to see if home testing could make it easier and more convenient for people to get screened for diabetes risk.
