Smartphone-Connected device could help breast cancer survivors spot dangerous swelling early

NCT ID NCT06580743

Summary

This study tested whether a home device that measures body water could help detect early signs of lymphedema (arm swelling) in people who have had breast cancer surgery. Researchers followed 52 participants for a year, having them use the device twice daily to track changes. The goal was to see if this home monitoring could catch swelling early, when it is easier to treat and potentially reverse.
