Cancer patients could skip hospital trips: home chemo trial underway
NCT ID NCT04268199
Summary
This study is testing whether patients with multiple myeloma can safely give themselves their standard chemotherapy injections at home instead of traveling to a hospital. Researchers want to see if home administration works well, is safe, and improves quality of life for patients and caregivers. The trial involves 100 adults who have already received several doses of the drug bortezomib in a clinic.
