First seen May 21, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tested a new home device that monitors breathing patterns in 120 adults with severe asthma. The goal was to see if changes in resting breathing could predict when an asthma attack might occur. No treatment was given; the study only observed breathing signals to see if they could serve as an early warning system.
