Cancer patients skip clinic trips with home blood tests in new study
NCT ID NCT06809101
Summary
This study is testing whether cancer patients can safely check their own blood counts at home during chemotherapy. It aims to see if this approach reduces unnecessary trips to the hospital, saves time and money, and improves patients' quality of life. The study involves 265 patients across three countries who will learn to use a special device at home for three of their four chemotherapy cycles.
