Finger-Prick test could replace hospital visits for cancer patients

NCT ID NCT07310537

Summary

This study is testing whether a simple finger-prick blood test can reliably detect tiny pieces of cancer DNA in the blood. Researchers want to see if this at-home method works as well as traditional blood draws from the arm for monitoring patients with colorectal cancer that has spread to the liver. If successful, this could allow patients to monitor their cancer from home instead of traveling to the hospital.
