Could a home Finger-Prick test replace clinic blood draws for cancer patients?

NCT ID NCT07491380

Summary

This study is testing whether a simple finger-prick blood test can reliably replace standard blood draws from the arm for monitoring drug levels in breast cancer patients. Researchers will compare results from both methods in 90 patients taking common CDK4/6 inhibitor medications. The goal is to make drug monitoring more convenient and less invasive, potentially allowing patients to collect samples at home.
