Could a house call replace a trip to the ER for seniors?
NCT ID NCT07472335
Summary
This study looks at whether sending a medical team to treat seniors at home during a health emergency works as well as sending them to the hospital emergency room. It will track 5,000 people aged 75 and older to see if home care leads to similar rates of hospital admission and survival. The goal is to understand if this approach is a safe and effective alternative for certain emergencies.
