Summary
This study is testing whether a single dose of an experimental drug called (2R,6R)-HNK can relieve short-term pain in healthy adults. Researchers want to find pain relief options that aren't addictive like opioid medications. The study involves 92 healthy volunteers who will receive either the drug or a placebo during overnight visits, then undergo pain sensitivity tests and brain scans to see how the drug works.
