First seen Feb 05, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This early-stage study tests two experimental mRNA vaccines designed to train the immune system to make powerful antibodies against HIV. About 40 healthy adults without HIV will receive the vaccines to check for safety and measure immune responses. The goal is to see if this approach can lead to a future HIV vaccine.
