NCT ID NCT06700447

First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether specially designed messages can help young women in South Africa resist false information about a future HIV vaccine. Over 2,000 women aged 18-29 will receive either standard information or enhanced messages that use psychological techniques to build resistance to misinformation. The goal is to see if these messages increase their willingness to get an HIV vaccine when one becomes available.
