Summary

This study is testing a long-acting injectable medication for children aged 2 to 12 who have HIV and whose virus is already under control. The goal is to see if switching from daily pills to a shot given every few weeks is safe, tolerable, and effective. About 90 children will participate, first taking pills to check safety, then receiving injections. The study is currently recruiting.
