Survey asks: what would keep HIV patients in care?
NCT ID NCT05454839
Summary
This study aims to understand what services and support HIV patients in South Africa prefer during their first six months on antiretroviral therapy. Researchers are surveying over 1,000 adults who recently started or restarted treatment at 18 healthcare facilities. The goal is to use this information to design better care models that help patients stay in treatment during this critical early period when many drop out.
