Faster HIV treatment tested to fight stigma in drug users

Summary

This study is testing whether starting HIV medication very quickly after diagnosis can help reduce the stigma felt by people who inject drugs. It will involve 135 participants, including people from the general community and those in prison. The goal is to see if this faster treatment approach improves how people feel about their care and helps control their HIV.
