First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study looks at whether giving HIV self-test kits and counseling to HIV-negative women after childbirth can help them and their male partners learn their HIV status and start PrEP (prevention) or antiretroviral therapy (treatment). About 120 women and their partners in South Africa will take part. The goal is to see if this approach is practical, safe, and acceptable.
