New approach aims to boost HIV prevention in latine communities

NCT ID NCT07218211

Summary

This study is testing whether offering a long-acting injectable HIV prevention medication (lenacapavir) through a trusted community organization helps Latine gay/bisexual men and transgender women stay on the medication longer. The program provides culturally-tailored support through peer navigators at El Centro Hispano. Researchers want to see if this community-based approach works better than traditional clinic settings for this population.
