Summary
This study tested a new program designed to help gay and bisexual men in Romania start and consistently take daily medication to prevent HIV, known as PrEP. The program combined in-person counseling with a mobile app for support and reminders. Researchers wanted to see if this approach was practical, acceptable to users, and effective at helping men take their medication as prescribed to stay protected.
