Summary
This study tested a new rapid HIV test for babies and young children in Zambia. The goal was to see if faster diagnosis helps more infected infants start antiretroviral therapy (ART) sooner. Over 1,600 HIV-exposed infants took part, and the results showed improved treatment initiation rates.
