Summary

This study reviewed health records from 2039 racial/ethnic minorities with HIV to see if seeing a heart specialist (cardiologist) helps prevent heart problems. Researchers tracked who visited a cardiologist and compared outcomes over up to 5 years. The goal is to learn how to better manage heart disease risk in this group and design future programs.
