Summary

This study looked at whether it is safe and effective for people with HIV to receive organ transplants from deceased donors who also had HIV. Researchers followed 13 HIV-positive patients who agreed to accept an organ from an HIV-positive donor, as well as others who received organs from HIV-negative donors. The goal was to track survival, organ rejection, and any HIV-related complications.
