Summary
This pilot study tests whether adding stigma-reduction counseling to standard depression treatment helps adults living with HIV in Malawi. Researchers will enroll 200 people with HIV and depressive symptoms at two district hospitals. The goal is to see if the program is acceptable, feasible, and effective at reducing stigma, improving depression, and keeping patients engaged in HIV care.
