First seen Jan 16, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding stigma-reduction counseling to standard depression treatment helps adults living with HIV in Malawi. Researchers will enroll 200 people and measure if the approach is acceptable, feasible, and improves depression symptoms and HIV care engagement. The goal is to learn how to better support this group, not to cure HIV or depression.
