New toolkit aims to stop people dropping out of HIV treatment
NCT ID NCT07439003
Summary
This study is testing a new support toolkit designed to help people in South Africa stay connected to their HIV care, especially during the first six months after starting medication. The toolkit includes tools to identify who might struggle to stay in care, a menu of support options they can choose from, and guides for both patients and healthcare providers. Researchers will pilot this toolkit in clinics to see if it helps more people attend their scheduled medical visits.
