Scientists search for hidden HIV clues in treated patients
NCT ID NCT03940521
Summary
This study aims to better understand how HIV hides in the body even when patients are on effective treatment. Researchers will measure specific markers on immune cells and viral DNA in 48 adults who have had undetectable HIV levels for at least two years. The goal is to learn more about what makes the virus persist, which could inform future research toward a cure.
