HIV 'Pause' test: can antibodies keep virus in check without daily pills?
NCT ID NCT06908083
Summary
This study is testing if a combination of two lab-made antibodies can help the body control HIV for a longer time after people temporarily stop their regular antiretroviral therapy (ART). It involves 50 people with HIV who were in a previous study where some received these antibodies and others received a placebo. Researchers will carefully monitor when and how high the virus returns after stopping daily pills to see if the antibodies made a lasting difference.
