Can a probiotic or blueberry extract slow immune aging in people with HIV?
NCT ID NCT07462767
Summary
This study aims to understand if two safe dietary supplements—a specific probiotic or blueberry extract—can affect markers of immune system aging in people with HIV who drink alcohol. It is a research study, not a treatment trial. Participants will try each supplement for four weeks, with a break in between, so researchers can compare their effects on blood-based aging markers.
