First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study compares two types of nerve blocks (QIPB and SIFICB) to see which one works better for pain after hip surgery. Sixty adults having hip surgery will be randomly assigned to receive one of the two blocks. The main goal is to measure pain levels using a 0-10 scale and track how much extra pain medication is needed. The results could help improve pain management and reduce reliance on strong painkillers.
