Less time in a cast after hip surgery? new study tests if 6 weeks is as good as 12.

This study compares two different lengths of time (6 weeks vs. 12 weeks) that children wear a hip cast after surgery for a dislocated hip (DDH). The goal is to see if a shorter cast time works just as well for healing and movement, with fewer problems like skin sores. About 40 children aged 18 months to 6 years will take part.
