Hip implant study aims to prevent bone loss after surgery
NCT ID NCT01285843
Summary
This study compared two different thigh bone parts used in hip replacement surgery. Researchers wanted to see if one part was better at preserving the patient's natural bone density around the implant. They also measured how well patients could walk and move after surgery to see which part led to better function and recovery.
