New hip screw aims to stop fractures from slipping

NCT ID NCT06521671

Summary

This study compares two surgical methods for fixing broken hips in adults under 65. It tests if a new, more rigid implant keeps the broken bone more stable during healing than the standard screws. Researchers will precisely measure bone movement, track complications, and monitor patients' pain and function over a year to see which method works better.
