Can simple chair exercises speed up hip fracture recovery?
NCT ID NCT05840315
Summary
This small pilot study tested whether a specific, high-volume sit-to-stand exercise program is practical and safe for older adults recovering from a hip fracture. Researchers worked with 30 participants to see if they could stick to the program without it causing too much pain. The goal was to gather initial information on whether this type of focused strength training could be a useful part of rehabilitation.
