Scientists test which intense workout boosts teen volleyball performance most
NCT ID NCT07181031
Summary
This study aimed to find out which of two popular, time-efficient training methods works better to improve athletic performance in teenage female volleyball players. Thirty-two athletes were split into groups doing either High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), High-Intensity Functional Training (HIFT), or their normal practice for 12 weeks. Researchers measured changes in their jumping power, speed, agility, volleyball skills, and fitness to see which training approach delivered better results.
