Can short, intense workouts tame diabetes?
NCT ID NCT06688461
Summary
This study is testing whether a specific, intense form of exercise called High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) can improve how the muscles of people with type 2 diabetes process sugar and respond to insulin. Researchers want to see if HIIT helps the body store sugar in muscles more effectively and if this also reduces harmful fat in the liver. The goal is to find a better exercise method to help manage the disease and its complications.
