Brain zap + intense exercise: new hope for fibromyalgia pain?
NCT ID NCT07323199
Summary
This study aims to see if combining high-intensity interval training (HIIT) cycling with a gentle, non-invasive brain stimulation technique (tDCS) works better than exercise alone to reduce pain and other symptoms in women with fibromyalgia. Researchers will compare three groups: HIIT with real brain stimulation, HIIT with fake stimulation, and HIIT by itself. The goal is to find out if this combination can improve pain, fatigue, sleep quality, and muscle strength more effectively.
