Can doubling the dose stop deadly clots in trauma patients?

NCT ID NCT07506473

Summary

This study aims to see if a higher dose of a common blood thinner (enoxaparin) is better at preventing dangerous blood clots in the lungs and legs of severely injured patients. It will compare the higher dose against the standard dose in 540 adults admitted to intensive care after major trauma. The main goal is to find out if the higher dose reduces clots without causing more serious bleeding.
