First seen Apr 05, 2026 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a special diet high in medium-chain triglycerides (a type of fat that is easier to digest) can help infants with biliary atresia grow better after their Kasai surgery. About 300 babies under 3 months old who had the surgery will be followed to see how their weight and length change. The goal is to improve nutrition and development in these infants.
