Can a High-Fiber diet help kids fight type 1 diabetes?

NCT ID NCT06198725

Summary

This study is testing whether a 12-week high-fiber diet can help protect the body's ability to produce insulin in children recently diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Researchers will compare children who follow the special diet to those who receive usual care. They will measure insulin production, blood sugar control, and changes in gut bacteria to see if the diet helps.
