New device zaps kidney nerves to fight stubborn high blood pressure

Summary
This study is collecting real-world information about an FDA-approved device that treats high blood pressure in people who can't control it with lifestyle changes and medications. The device uses a catheter to deliver ultrasound energy to calm overactive nerves around the kidneys, which can help lower blood pressure. About 1,000 participants will have the procedure and be followed for 5 years to check long-term safety and effectiveness.
