First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 31, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a diet with foods that bind bile acids can lower the number of hospital and emergency room visits for children who rely on feeding tubes and are at risk for breathing problems from food or liquid entering the airway. About 138 children will be assigned to one of three diets for six months. The goal is to see if the bile-binding diet leads to fewer lung and stomach complications.
