First seen May 15, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study looks at whether feeding babies in a side-lying position is safer than the usual upright position. Researchers will use special X-ray videos to watch how 40 infants swallow in both positions. The goal is to see if side-lying reduces the risk of liquid going into the airway (aspiration).
