First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 34 times

Summary

This study is testing a non-invasive treatment called high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) for soft tissue sarcoma and small symptomatic desmoid tumors. Around 10 to 16 adults will receive HIFU as a day procedure, with the goal of destroying tumor cells using ultrasound waves. The main focus is on safety and whether the treatment is feasible, while also looking at how well it works and the immune response it triggers.
