First seen May 08, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026

Summary

This study tests a new, non-invasive treatment for high blood pressure called high-intensity transcranial alternating current stimulation (Hi-tACS). It uses mild electrical currents on the scalp to stimulate the brain. The trial will include 50 adults with primary hypertension to see if this approach can safely lower blood pressure without medication.
